International Justice Mission - Publication

International Justice Mission operates at the frontline of global justice, working to protect the most vulnerable from violence and exploitation. Their yearly publications document victories, ongoing challenges, and the human stories behind their legal advocacy work. Creativ Razor was entrusted with designing a publication worthy of this vital mission.

The Brief

IJM required a publication design that would communicate both the urgency of their mission and the hope found in their successes. The publication needed to inspire action while respecting the sensitivity and dignity of the stories being told.

Our approach

  1. The photography was treated with editorial restraint, using thoughtful cropping and placement to convey dignity.

  2. We integrated pull quotes and data visualizations as waypoints, breaking the narrative into digestible sections while maintaining a powerful forward momentum from cover to cover.
