Behold the Nairobi Cityscape under a blue skyline! Beautiful blue skies with scattered clouds that extend to the horizon beyond the growing cityscape. Truly, the City under the sun! This is a landscape photo of Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) and part of Westlands Business District. The images capture the developing nature of the city with upcoming high-rise structures in the background, such as the GTC Nairobi, a 47 storey ‘Landmark’ coming up along Chiromo Lane, Westlands.
Nairobi City is the Capital of the Republic of Kenya in East Africa. Nairobi enjoys relatively warm weather throughout the year. This beautiful cityscape under a blue skyline was captured in early March, 2020 which is the warmest months of the year. Nairobi boasts as being the only city with a National park: the Nairobi National Park. Further, the city is a rising tech-hub dubbed the ‘Silicon Savanna’, and winning the award of ‘Smartest City in Africa’ two times in a row.
The City under the sun has three business districts: the Central Business District; Westlands Business Districts and; Upperhill Business District. These images were captured from Upperhill atop NSSF Towers focusing on the CBD below and Westlands in the horizon not too far off.
